Searchco (sm) conducts assessments or audits associated with one or more of the above issues. This uses one of Searchco's  core competencies to give a unbiased, confidential and systematic evaluation of the senior management team in a client firm or acquisition candidate.

In undertaking this type of assignment, Searchco does not set itself up in competition with specialist management consultants.  Rather, we work in harness with them, as appropriate. We are continually reviewing the latest ideas and developments in Top-level Human Resources, but typically Management Assessment includes the following steps:

  1. Confirmation of Issues - The Searchco team rapidly assimilates the issues and any existing evaluations of the situation through, reviewing documents, interviewing the leadership in the client and of necessary other advisors or others in the industry. We then confirm the objectives, scope and timetable of the assignment with the client. 
  2. Assessments - Experienced Searchco Search Professionals with prior experience at senior levels in General Management, Human Resources, or Consulting, objectively evaluate the relevant client team members against the clients' future needs through a review of track record and documented history. We then conduct in-depth competency based interviews. We often work with psychological profiles and specialist professional firms, where the client desires this.
  3. Recommendations - The confidential evaluations are then prepared for the clients review, together with recommendations relevant to the specific need, e.g. a succession plan.

Interim Management
Searchco (sm) can supply interim managers in selected locations. Interim management is the use of senior directors and managers, on a short- to medium-term basis, to solve the increasingly complex problems inherent to the current business environment. Issues might include:
